have been involved in numerous local Community Group and School Wildlife, Garden and Eco projects and these have included:
• A very successful garden landscaping scheme developed and project managed by us at Penrhiwfer Infants School, with Simply The Best also supporting the school's Green Flag Award. We keep in touch with the school and still carry out works of maintenance and improvements.
• Bird Box and Planter making days at Ynyscynon Early Years Centre, Rhydyfelin Childrens Centre and Penrhiwfer Infants School have proved popular with both parents and children.
• A vegetable garden, raised flower beds and trellising scheme at Craig yr Hesg Primary School, Glyncoch, again involved both children and parents - on this occasion in mass digging and planting sessions!
• Simply The Best have delivered training days for Cwmni in Brushcutters/trimmers and Control of Invasive Species and advised Cwmni in respect of an impressive Dry Stone Wall project in Blaencwm near Treherbert.
• Simply The Best are currently involved in assisting Tonyrefail Comprehensive School with their "Breathing Places" Garden application and we hope to start the practical landscaping work and training programme on this project in early summer if their application is successful.
• We shall also shortly be returning to Glyncoch and Rhydyfelin to deliver courses to community groups in fencing, planter making and boardwalks.
